Some Learning form book /teacher are useful for day to day life some only for academic reason s only. On thing that will remain in civilized human systems.
Learning and passing is necessity to be successful. This is when such ingrain feeling drive artistic endeavor to learn form book and teacher.
While this is possible to learn the very basics .Attempting to apply to such learning methods to improve the game or any artistic endeavor to level of virtuoso will result in a disaster.
